We want to know: what wise words have positively impacted your life?
Some words have real sticking power, particularly those that truly merit the description ‘inspirational’. Less the stream of two-a-penny motivational quotes in decorative borders that surge daily through social media, more those words that – by dint of their poignancy in a particular time and place – hold real power to change things for the better.
We’d love to hear about the encouraging, refreshing or plain useful words that have conveyed real meaning in your life. Perhaps a brilliant teacher said something that put you on a certain path, a parent shared wise words to live by, or a shrewd stranger chimed in at a time of conflict or doubt?
Despite its ubiquity, perhaps it has been the sort of tea towel philosophy so beloved of Instagram that’s proved to be life-changing?
It could be something intensely personal to you – specific to a time, place or situation – or perhaps you’ve come across some nugget of verified wisdom that seems timeless and universal?
